Southampton Street

Solmaz designed and managed the refurbishment and conversion of a large historic office building into 18 high spec residential apartments. The developers Stonehaven Group selected Solmaz as their building contractor, partly because of our experience in restoring buildings in prestigious areas such as Covent Garden. The main building was completely remodelled such as all the internal structural walls were removed, the remaining shell was structurally reinforced, and 18 apartments were built.

Logistically, this was an extremely difficult site to work on, Southampton Street was too narrow for delivery lorries to access and every aspect of the project had to planned in meticulous detail. The whole building was refurbished to an extremely high specification, and our bespoke joinery team also made and installed various high specs joinery items.
